In 2012 I had received my first Batman Lego sets. Both contained a different Batman suit, one had a classic suit and one had a classic suit with wings and a jet pack instead of a cape. Since I had also received Lego Batman 2: Dc Super Heroes at the same time, I had decided to have a place to put the extra suit. In 2014, I had bought some more sets, and I realized that there weren't enough places for all my Batman minifigures. So I built an armory for those suits, and later decided to give special powers to the suits without anything special about them, and upgrading the suits with special 'abilities.'
These are the first three suits, in the sets there is nothing special about them. The one on the left is the classic Batsuit,. The middle was another that came out in 2012 as well, and stars in Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes as the suit that has no abilities. The Batsuit on the right sometimes called the grey hands, because it is the only suit with grey hands. |
Each space has two lights in front of the batsuit, two slant pieces which represent the suit, and overhead lights.
In the first space there is no suit because I don't have that one yet. The red lights mean that the suit isn't finished yet, and this suit is the armored suit, which comes in a Batman V. Superman set. the middle suit is obviously the Arctic suit, which the next four from this one till the middle of the next set are in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. The last of these suits is the Aqua suit, this is the only suit I did not modify. At all. |
All of the suits are based off of suits from Lego Batman game series, whether they came in the sets that way, or I made them that way. Anyway the first batsuit is the space suit(yea, big shocker), this suit, however, is the only one that has the new 2015 cowl, or as some people call it, the 'Newest Cowl' because there are three types of cowls now. the second is the electricity suit I added the back part as you will see in the next picture. The last suit is the jet pack suit( I know what you're thinking "WHERE IS THE JET PACK?????" my reply is "IN THE BACK!!!!! or side you pick.") and one of the first Batman minifigures I got. |
This is what the back is made out of, not a whole lot of pieces. |
This is what it looks like as a whole. |
Now like I said before I upgraded all but one suit, and gave them better weapons than just a batarang, so the next part of the post will be about how I upgraded the suits, and yes I will use the same sets of suits as I did before.
To start things off we have the most upgraded suits. The classic suit just has Robin's grappling gun for an upgrade.
The black suit is what I call the Energy suit, because it has a sword and shield of energies, the sword is of fire, and the shield is made up of six power rings, in which when a lantern attacks Batman the shield will defend him against the attack with the most powerful ring/or you can say that the emotion of the attacker will be his/her greatest foe(see Lantern Corps for details on emotions of the different colored rings). Hopefully I will get an updated version of the shield when I get a stud for the Indigo ring.
I decided to make the grey hands Batman as the bomb suit. I had originally made him as the armored suit, then power(armored and bomb) suit, but when I heard that an armored Batman minifigure was coming out in January of 2016, I just decided to make it a bomb suit. This batsuit has a bomb batarang from Lego Batman 2, and the bombs he sets down are from Lego Batman 1. This suit is bomb proof, so as to protect Batman, and anyone else from bombs of any type. Every Batman minifigure that comes with a batarang has just a batarang as an additional weapon.

All four suits you see in this picture(which also includes the electricity suit) appear in Lego Batman 3, which I think is pretty cool. Now the arctic suit I had created several different freeze guns, so at last I decided to use the design from Lego Batman 3, but when I realized that it was the same as Robin's freeze gun from Lego Batman 2, and I knew I couldn't do that I just stuck with what I thought was the gun used in Lego Batman 3, or the 2006 version of Mr. Freeze's freeze gun. (as a background story) When Mr. Freeze made a new gun Batman happened to find the old, broken gun and fixed/upgraded the old one and used it for the arctic suit. The powers of the Ice suit are as follows, immune to extreme temperatures, and can freeze anything.
There really isn't much to say about the aqua suit. It lets Batman breathe and fight underwater.
In Lego Batman 3, the space suit has an ability to shoot a laser from Batman's hand, I thought 'since Batman doesn't have any weapons for the space suit I just as well create a laser for him.' Again there is not a whole lot of abilities for the space suit, just flight, and the ability to breathe and fight in space. |
The electricity suit I think I did the most upgrading on. The suit only came withe the legs, torso, head, and cowl, so I added the electricity pack and gun(which were inspired by Lego Batman 3). The abilities are: Batman is immune to electricity, he can charge the pack by taking electricity from an outlet(next photo) using the electricity gun, and Batman can put electricity back into an outlet. Last is the jet pack suit, or sonar suit(because of the sound gun), which doesn't have any other powers except of those that are in the name. |
This outlet was inspired by Lego Batman 2. |
